Unchained Melody

Here is a poem I wrote a few years back thought I would share with you.

I've lived a million years
It seems I lived that long
Looking back on my life
A story, words to a song
The many tears I shed
The dangers I have faced
The hopes and dreams I have strived for
The friends I have lost and replaced
The journey of many lessons
The strength to still pull through
Countless times I almost quit
To life I have always remained true.
I am thankful for each heartache
Awaiting each episode of life to arrive
the good, the bad, and the ugly
I will enjoy while I'm alive
Each day starts with happiness
It is another day to fight to be me
Another chapter for a story
A beautiful unchained Melody.

WOW... Am I glad to find out that I am not the only crazy pretending to be normal. Sometime you just have to say WTF and I guess that's why, for the first time in my life I'm on a blog. I've been on lots of things in my sometime boring life, mostly women, but WTF. I hope your dogs are not named something stupid like, Lady and Tramp, French and Fry, or Cuff and Link. Have a nice week-end.

As I am sitting here in my very small jail cell like studio apartment, I'm often wondering if I have indeed chosen to be here or that in reality I might actually have been committed to this place because I'm insane....Jessie, I would love to take you out to a movie...I don't know about diner anymore since you nearly fell asleep last time LOL just kidding. I don't know if I can handle a chat room and even IM's don't give me the real feeling of a one on one conversation at times. I would love to spend some quality time talking with you as true friends. The moaning during sessions don't leave much of a chance for that....Love, W
